How to Look Sexy at the Beach

Everyone wants to look good when they slip on that swim suit to go strut their stuff on the beach. But unless you're a professional, you probably don't know the tricks that can make your body stand out and get noticed from the top of your sunglasses down to your painted toenails.

  1. Step 1

    Make your arms look lean and toned. Use a self-tanning mist such as Banana Boat Summer Color Self-Tanning Mist. Lightly spray one coat down the inside of your arm and then spray down along the outside of your arm. This makes a lighter strip of skin down the front of your arm, which creates an illusion of length and leanness.

  2. Step 2

    Outline strong shoulders. Use a sheer bronzing spray. Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze Leg-Perfecting Spray Tint is available at Victoria's Secret stores. Even though it's made for legs, use it to define your shoulders. Hold the can about 6 inches away. Relax your arm, and then spray one coat around your shoulder muscle in a circular motion.

  3. Step 3

    Highlight your chest. Mix even parts of body lotion and self-tanner together. Vaseline Intensive Care Daily Skin Shield Protective Moisture Lotion and Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze Self-Tan Tint is a great combination. Apply it across your clavicle and down into the valley between your breasts in a long "V" shape.

  4. Step 4

    Show off those sexy leg muscles. Apply one coat of gradually building self-tanning lotion all over your legs. Jergens Natural Glow Firming Daily Moisturizer found at drugstores works well. When the first coat is dry, layer another coat in circular motions on your calves, quadriceps and hamstrings to accentuate the contours of your muscles.

  5. Step 5

    Get an overall glow. Combine a spoon full off loose shimmering powder like Victoria's Secret Very Sexy Loose Powder in Role Play with sunblock. Try Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 70. Rub this mixture all over your body about 15 minutes before hitting the beach.
