How to Print Font Samples in Windows XP
A great way to find out how a font will look after it is printed is to print a font sample. This requires you to access the Fonts folder from the Control Panel and choose which font sample you want to print.

Choose the "Start" button from the bottom left of your computer screen to display the Start menu.

Click "Control Panel" from the right hand side of the Start menu to open the "Control Panel" dialog box.

Double-click the "Fonts" icon to display a list of all the Windows XP fonts on your computer. They will be listed with the same icon but names that differentiate them from each other.

Click to select the font that you want to print. The name of the font will be highlighted indicating that it is selected.

Select the "File" menu and choose "Print" to open the "Print" dialog box. The font sample you are going to print will show up behind the "Print" dialog box.

Change the settings in the "Print" dialog box to determine the settings you want to use when printing the font sample.

Click the "Print" button from the "Print" dialog box to print the selected font sample.

Tips & Warnings
Use the CTRL key to click multiple font samples that you want to print one after each other. A "Print" dialog box will open up for each sample you have selected to print.
