1
Make taking care of yourself a priority. Taking care of twins is demanding so you must set aside time for yourself or you will never lose that twin pregnancy weight. Let your spouse or partner know of your goal so that he can plan to watch the twins while you work out.
-
2
Plan healthy meals ahead of time so you are less likely to grab junk food while on the move. Make a list of the ingredients you need for a week's worth of meals and go grocery shopping. Keep the meals simple, as you won't have a lot of time to cook.

-
3
Keep healthy snacks handy at all times. When taking care of twins the amount of time you have available is limited. Having healthy snacks handy makes it less likely you will eat high carbohydrate, high fat foods.
-
4
Invest in a double jogging stroller with a swivel front wheel. Load up the twins and go for a speed walk, slowly working your way up to a jog. The weight of the twins provides you with resistance, helping to make the workout more effective.
-
5
Realize that you might not lose the excess skin from being pregnant with twins. You can lose your twin pregnancy weight and do abdominal exercises regularly, but some women won't be able to tighten their stomach due to loss of elasticity. If you are done having children, you may want to consider having abdominoplasty, also known as a "tummy tuck."

Thank you for writing this. It's a breath of fresh air. My twins are 8 months old and I still look pregnant (just not as pregnant as I did look). It seems most advice does not take into account the larger size a twin mom has achieved, and the day to day stress of caring for twins. So, again, thanks.
