A drill team is a group of people who move in unity and perform at events such as sporting events and parades. There are many different types of drill teams such as military, motorcycle, high school and church centered. Promise and virtuous seed drill teams are church centered and consist of members who are followers of Jesus. They often perform at religious rallies and other religious events.

Talk to your pastor. You need to make sure that your church will support your Promise and virtuous seed drill team. If your church as a youth group, you need to talk to the adult in charge of the youth group about your idea.
Step2
Pray about your promise and virtuous seed drill team. Ask God for His guidance about your drill team.

Meet with people who are interested in the drill team. You can use this meeting to overview what types of events you hope the team will attend, how you plan to raise money for the drill team and to schedule a time for the first practice.
Step4
Begin to raise money for your drill team. You can ask the pastor to hold a special collection for your drill team. Hold a car wash, bake sale or other fundraiser to raise money. Specify what the money will be used for, such as uniforms, flags or travel expenses.
Step5
Hold the first practice. You can use this like an orientation and to come up with a preliminary routine. Remember that your routine should honor God. This is a good time to decide if you will have a captain and co captains for the drill team. If you do, vote on them or simply announce the choices.
