How to Grapple Like Chuck Liddell

Ultimate Fighting Championship's light heavy weight winner, Chuck Liddell, seems to have ice running through his veins. The cage fighter known as "The Iceman" enjoys the challenge of grappling, and he will go to extremes to defeat his opponent. Learn what it takes to grapple like Chuck Liddell.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Train in mixed martial arts (MMA) to excel in cage fighting. Liddell uses fisticuffs, kickboxing, wrestling and choke holds to eliminate his opponents.

  2. Step 2

    Grapple like Liddell without concern for your competitor's physical well-being. Chuck has been know to beat his opponent to a bloody pulp and says, "I'll fight anybody in my backyard for free just to see if I'm better than him."

  3. Step 3

    Deliver face kicks to the adversary and strive to injure him so he must quit the fight. Liddell answers the question about what drives him to beat another person mercilessly, "Every time I win, I prove something: I'm the best guy in the world at what I do."

  4. Step 4

    Land a haymaker punch on your rival's head to knock him unconscious. Chuck's long reach helps him land surprising blows on his opponent's head.

  5. Step 5

    Be fast, flexible, strong and confident to last through repeated blows from the competition. Liddell's buddy explains, "Before a fight, Chuck is always goofing around. That's why I named him The Iceman. He doesn't get nervous."

  6. Step 6

    Project an intimidating presence to grapple like Chuck Liddell. His piercing eyes are enough to make the average person back-off in fear, and he keeps his body in top muscular condition.

  7. Step 7

    Hold a fighting record that allows few losses. Liddell has only lost three fights in his 10 years of fighting.
