How to Make a Fake Lip Ring That Looks Real

If you want a lip ring, but are not allowed to get one or are somewhat fearful about doing it, you can make a fake lip ring that looks real. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Cut a piece of tinfoil approximately 1/3 of an inch wide and 1 to 2 inches long. The actual dimensions will depend upon what size you want the ring to be.

    • 2

Fold the piece of tin foil about halfway along its width from the edge.

    • 3

Do the same from the opposite edge, folding it about halfway in. Now fold the entire piece in half along the width so that you have folded it three times and it is 1/3 the size of the original width.

    • 4

Flatten each end of the folded piece of tin foil by squeezing the ends with your fingers. Make sure not to flatten the whole piece. It needs to look like an actual ring, so you do not want it to be flat.

    • 5

Bring the ends in together into a ring shape. Make the ring look smooth and even as possible to get it to look realistic.

    • 6

Place the ends of the ring around the area you want to look pierced. Make sure it is tight around the area so that it stays on securely. Now you have an instant piercing without the pain.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use this to make a fake nose ring, navel ring or even earring as well as a lip ring.
