Making your dog famous in a week is possible because of the large audience available on the Internet. With the right strategy, your dog can be known world wide. Sometimes, beware that dogs that become famous within a week are forgotten by many the next week.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Record your dog doing a unique trick, wearing an interesting costume or doing something really cute. There should be something that stands out about your dog so that people will remember it.

  2. Step 2

Make your dog an online personality. Create a web page and an email address for your dog. If your dog has a common name, consider giving it an alias that is memorable.

  3. Step 3

Post the video of your dog on social networking sites. You should link all of the videos and pictures of your dog to its main web page.

  4. Step 4

Send emails or text messages with a link to your dog's video to everyone you know. Make this communication personal.

  5. Step 5

Have business cards printed and pass them out. Be sure to include a picture of your dog on the card along with its web page address. Hand these out to anyone who may be interested in your dog. One way to maximize your dog's exposure is to take your dog out in public and then pass out a card to anyone who looks at your dog.

  6. Step 6

Contact your local media. Send your local television station a copy of the tape of your dog along with one of your business cards. If possible, you should send the tape to a specific person at the station so that your tape is viewed as soon as it is received.

  7. Step 7

Hire an animal talent agent who has the contacts to help to make your dream a reality.
