If you are like me and you are looking for ways to bring in additional income from home then I suggest you familiarize yourself with google adsense. The way it works is advertisers pay google a certain amount to show their ads on blogs and websites related to the product they are trying to market, when someone clicks on the add google then takes a cut of the money for them self and then they give the website owner a % for showing the ad on their site. It's a pretty good system and has worked out well for google as well as the website owner and the advertisers make out well because they now have a targeted lead that will hopefully be converted into a sale, so its a win-win situation for each party involved. You too can benefit from these ads by creating a blog or website with high paying keywords, then placing adsense ads on it. How do I know so much about this? Well I have been an online affiliate marketer for about 1 year and its been a nice way to make a passive residual income from home.

Step 1

Create a blog, research good keywords. A free keyword tool that I highly recommend is word tracker, you can visit the website here :http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/gtrends/
A good keyword is a key word that is high paying but has low competition. It must also be in high demand. When I say high demand, I mean people must type this keyword in the google search bar daily.
Step 2

Then go to www.google.com/adsense, and sign up for a free google adsense account, you will need to provide the address for your blog, this is why you will need to complete step 1 first.
Step 3

Place your adsense code above the fold on your web page. I can't tell you how many times I see people make this mistake, ad placement is key. Step 4

Post daily to your blog, include targeted keywords in your post, related to your blog topic. This will help you to get free traffic to your blog from the major search engines.
Step 5

Write 2 articles a week and submit them to article directories with a link back to your blog or website. This will help to increase your back links and help to move your site up in the search engines. Keep up this process and you will notice more traffic to your site.
