1. Visit the LiveMocha homepage and register for a free account. Just simply click the “get started” button to begin your language learning experience. Enter your desired username, email address, password and your chosen language. You can even add more than one language to learn at one time and then pick your current skill level for each one. The entire registration process will only take a few seconds to complete and an activation email will be sent to you.

2. Click the activation email that was sent to your registered email address and login to the LiveMocha account. You'll be able to enter personal information for your profile and even add a picture for others to view. Take a few minutes to view some of the other components of the website and familiarize yourself with all of the features it has to offer.

3. Click the “learn” tab to get started on your language learning process. It will quickly display all language courses that you have selected during the initial registration phase. You'll be presented with audio and text to help you learn the basics of your chosen language. Connect the words to the photos and increase your knowledge of the new language. There are plenty of fun exercises that will teach you how to speak this new language.

4. Select the “practice” tab as soon as you are confident with your new language knowledge. LiveMocha will not only present you with organized lesson plans, but it will also allow you the chance to communicate with others in the community. You'll be able to practice conversational skills with them and improve your language strength tremendously. If for some reason you don't want to practice with others, then choose to do so on your own.

5. Click the “share” tab if you have mastered your new languages. Help others improve their skills and share your newly found knowledge. You'll be able to help create a productive learning experience for yourself and others. Community members that are requesting tutor help will submit their requests via the “tutor” portal. Just simply select the student with an exercise you'd like to correct, rate, or actively speak to.
