How to Make A Faux Marble Christmas Ornament

These beautiful glass ornaments are not difficult to make, but look like they cost big bucks. With their swirls of colors inside sparkling glass, people will rave over them. To get these gorgeous ornaments on your tree,, follow these instructions.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Clear glass ornament, any size
  • 2 colors of craft paint
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue
  • Small paper cup
  • Embellishments
  1. Step 1

    Remove the metal top from ornament.

  2. Step 2

    Pour a small amount of one color of paint into glass bulb opening. Swirl gently but do not coat entire inside. Turn upside down and balance it on top of a small paper cup to let any excess paint drip out for 30 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Pour a small amount of the second color into glass bulb opening and finish coating inside of bulb. Take care not to blend the colors too much. Turn it upside down and place in paper cup and let dry overnight.

  4. Step 4

    Hot glue the top back on to bulb.

  5. Step 5

    Embellish with ribbon, lace, small faux berries or other holiday decorations. Place the ornament on the tree using a wire ornament hook..
