There are those days in every ones life when it seems nothing can go right. Usually in the midst of all of this stress, you will get a stress headache. The pounding of your stress headache will continue to build if you do not do something to get rid of it. Follow these steps to get rid of your stress headache.

Things You'll Need:

  • Cup of coffee
  • Dark room

    Get Rid of Your Stress Headache

  1. Step 1

    Remove yourself from the stressful situation to get rid of your stress headache. If you are continually being bombarded with stress you will not be able to get rid of your stress headache.

  2. Step 2

    Grab a cup of coffee and head to a dark quiet room to work on your stress headache.

  3. Step 3

    Sit in the dark room and close your eyes. This will block any stimulus that may add to your stress headache.

  4. Step 4

    Take a deep breathe. Hold the breathe for 10 seconds and then slowly let it out. This will start to alleviate your stress headache.

  5. Step 5

    Sip your cup of coffee slowly. This will ease your stress headache.

Tips & Warnings
  • Caffeine is a great alternative to getting rid of a stress headache to over the counter pain medicine.
  • If you can not remove yourself from the stress, do the deep breathing and drink caffeine to get rid of your stress headache.
