1
Figure out how many guests you plan on feeding. It's good to always have extra dessert because people love sweets. Select the colors and flavors you would like to use. You should have at least two colors and two flavors so that your guests will have a choice and the resulting decor will be more attractive.
-
2
Mix the cupcake mix for one flavor and pour it into the cupcake molds. Bake according to the directions on the box. Allow the cupcakes to sit and cool. Remove them from the baking tins.
-
-
3
Repeat Step 2 for all of the flavors. Place the cupcakes in paper cupcake wrappers. Frost the cupcakes using the wedding colors. Add any sprinkles or other items you would like on the cupcakes, such as fruit or wedding symbols and emblem decor.
-
4
Purchase a tiered stand. Arrange the cupcakes on the stand by color or flavor. Create a pattern or overall design that is pleasing to the eye. Make sure the cupcakes aren't squished together.
-
5
Decorate the stand with flowers, ribbon and bows or other decorations. Place these items between the cupcakes and around the stand. That's it.

Great concise article. You might also look for a "doctored" cake mix recipe when making your cupcakes. You wouldn't believe how great a cake mix can be with just a few added ingredients. -

Great tips! One more that professional bakers use is to turn the oven temperature down to 325 degrees. It usually helps keep the cupcakes from getting a dome shape, keeping them flat and easy to decorate. -
