Instructions

    • 1

Mix the mineral oil with the lemon extract in a small container. Use one with a tight fitting lid so that when you are done cleaning, you can just seal it up for the next time someone leaves a spot.

    • 2

Put a few drops on the wood or on a soft cloth. Rub gently in a circular motion until you see the fingerprint is gone.

    • 3

Shake a little corn starch on the wood or put it on the cloth if the wood you're cleaning isn't flat. Let it sit for a few moments and buff it lightly with a clean dry cloth. The corn starch will absorb the mineral oil and put a pretty finish on the wood.

    • 4

Put the lemon oil mixture under the sink or in the pantry to be used later. It will keep for a very long time.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can do this without the corn starch if you have to.
