Clean your oven naturally and keep it clean with these easy tips that allow you to get tough built up grease off of the walls of your oven and retard future buildup.

    How to Naturally Clean an Oven

  1. Step 1

    Sprinkle water on the oven bottom.

  2. Step 2

    Cover the oven bottom with a thin application of baking soda.

  3. Step 3

    Let it sit overnight.

  4. Step 4

    Wipe off the baking soda with a damp sponge.

  5. Step 5

    Apply a liquid soap using a scouring pad and then rinse when you've finished scouring.

Tips & Warnings
  • Put a sheet of aluminum foil on the floor of the oven, underneath, but not touching, the heating element, to keep your oven clean. If a spill does make it past the aluminum foil, clean it immediately to keep it from setting in and becoming too stubborn to remove.
