How to Make a Snow Globe Craft
Snow globes are fun to make and can be done without spending a dime. Search for treasures as the beach and use a left over glass jar from your last spaghetti dinner. If you take a look around your house you can come up with some great ideas for some globes and you can even make some as presents for your family.

1
Choose a theme for your snow globe. Snow globes don't have to be filled with snow or winter scene's if you don't want them too. You can also create ocean themes, beach themes, or use a souvenir from a vacation as your focal point.

2
Get out a glass jar. The best sized ones are spaghetti sauce jars. Place the objects you want inside your globe in the glass jar. If you choose to do a beach scene you could put some beach sand, small shells, or pieces of coral. It's fun to have a couple of really good small objects inside. You can also make a snow globe with one larger object inside such a souvenir. Say you went to visit the Statue of Liberty. You could by a little replica, add glue to the base of it and press it in to the bottom of your glass jar.

Now add water all the way to the top leaving only a little bit of room for air.

4
Sprinkle in glitter. They make glitter in different colors so choose one that goes with your theme. You may want to use blue glitter for a beach theme or gold glitter for a Statue of Liberty theme.

5
Close the jar up with the lid making sure it is on as tight as you can possibly get it. You can even add some glue to the lid before you place it on the jar so that when you are done tightening the lid it will dry and stay shut.
