• A variety of sockets
• Tire iron
• Hammer
• Nut removers

1. Check to see if a regular socket will remove the wheel locks. You would be surprised at how often they will.

2. Try wedging a slightly too big tire iron on sideways and leveraging the wheel lock off.

3. Use a slightly too small socket and tap it on with a hammer. Use a long handle for leverage and break it free.

4. Buy a nut remover and a new set of lug nuts. The remover will ruin the ones you are taking off.

5. Check the local body shops and flea markets for spare ‘keys’. You might get lucky. Also check with the dealer.

Tips & Warnings

• Don’t pay a body shop to take off your wheel locks; they are just going to try one ore more of the above methods.

• Be careful swinging a hammer so you don’t ruin your rims.
