Browse the different horseback riding tours available. The Ponderosa/South Mountain Stables offer traditional trail rides which are available on a first-come first-served walk-in basis. The stables also over several special tours including breakfast rides, cook-out rides, sunset dinner rides, hay wagon rides and eve riding lessons. Take in the beautiful Arizona sunset by taking that special someone on a sunset dinner ride. Reservations are required for the specialized riding tours.

Verify that everyone in your party meets the riding requirements. The stables will allow riders as young as two with an adult aged 21 and older on the same house. Children age six and older are allowed to ride solo. The facility does have a limited number of riding helmets available for young children.
