Are you looking for a game that allows for a lot of bluffing to add to your poker night selection? Well, then you will want to check out Blind Poker. This game is a variation of poker that has you play poker without allowing your opponents to know any of your cards. This makes Blind Poker a game that favors those that can bluff successfully. Of course, a bluffer can pay the price if they run into someone with a great hand.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Gather your friends together at someone's house for a night of poker. When playing Blind Poker, you don't need a lot of players. You can play with four to six participants in a game of Blind Poker.

  2. Step 2

Decide if you are going to play the five card or seven card version of Blind Poker.

  3. Step 3

Deal three cards to each player, all of these cards are dealt face down. This is for the seven card version of Blind Poker. The player to the left of the dealer places the first bet in a game of Blind Poker.

  4. Step 4

Deal four more rounds of face down cards. Each round consists of one face down card dealt to each of the players that remains in the hand at the table. To make things fair, the person who makes the opening bet each round rotates around the table. Instead of the player to the left of the dealer starting the second round of betting, the player two seats to the left starts the second round. In the third round the player three seats to the left of the dealer starts the betting round. This continues through the fifth betting round.

  5. Step 5

Reveal your hands to determine the winner. After the fifth betting round, everyone reveals their hands to determine the winner of the poker hand and that person collects the chips in the pot. This is when you find out who might have been bluffing and who had a real hand.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are playing the five card version, instead of dealing three face down cards in the first round you only deal one face down card.
  • Bluffing can pay off in Blind Poker, but it can also cost you a lot of chips. Be careful how long you stay with a bluff if you have more than one caller.
