There are 3 nationwide credit reporting agencies and they are each required to provided the consumer with a free copy of their credit report every 12 months upon request.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    According to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission website, you can order a free credit report on-line by logging on to www.annualcreditreport.com.

  2. Step 2

    Or call 1-877-322-8228.

  3. Step 3

    Or complete a mail-in form which is available on the government website www.ftc.gov under the Consumer Protection section.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to only log onto the official government website and be sure to spell it correctly when entering the URL so that you are not misdirected to a fraudulent website where you may be required to purchase a product

I have been stuggling to find a good and cheap site for credit report.My friend told me that I can get my a free credit report and score + credit monitoring free trial.This site is really cool and I thought I would help everyone to share it here:
