How to Add a Background or Theme to Your iPod video (5G/5.5G)

Clear and easy ways to add beautiful background or theme onto your 5G/5.5G iPod.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• iPod 5G/5.5G
• iPodWizard 1.3
• 5G or 5.5G Ultimate Background Hack V1.2.1

1. First download WinRAR or WinZip or any program that can open zip files will do.

   Download

   Go to http://ipodstuff.org/ for the "5G or 5.5G Ultimate Background Hack V1.2.1". Click the right side of the page-"Perfect Background hack", and find the green fonts of the article; you just click the left side "For 5G Video" or "For 5.5G Video" to download the zip file for the folder of this file. I just download the former and the folder name is "5G Ultimate Background Hack V1.2.1"

3. Go to http://www.getipodwizard.com/download.php to get the latest version-iPodWizard v1.3, and run this program:

   Firmware File and Open Firmware

   Choose Edit Mode＞Firmware File, and then Open Firmware of "5G Ultimate Background Hack V1.2.1" (I just take the 5G for this tutorial).

   Write to iPod

   Go to: http://www.ipodwizard.net/ for the Forum part to choose the theme of iPod background you like to directly download the zip, and release the zip for the folder of the theme.
   1).Choose the Index number: 138;
   2).Click "Load all" and choose the iPod theme folder file;
   3).Click "Write" and choose the dialog box "Yes";
   4).Click "Write to iPod" to agree the dialog box instruction as well;
   5).Last eject your iPod, and you will get the new background of your iPod.

Tips & Warnings

• If you just want to change the fonts, you can select the Index NO.19.
• If you want to bring back the original iPod theme, just use the iTunes to update your iPod.

on 11/2/2008 this thing deleted all my songs and i got them back by going on itunes but my backround changed soo what do i do to have the backround and the music??
