This is an easy activity for a fun filled afternoon! The only difficult part might be cleaning up the mess!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Plastic Squeeze Bottle
  • Glitter (optional)
  • 1/4 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Tempera Powder in your favorite color

Step1
Stir flour, salt, water and tempera powder until well mixed. Pour paint into bottle. Repeat this step with different tempera powders to make more colors.
Step2
Squeeze out designs onto paper, cardboard or papier-mache sculptures.
Step3
Immediately sprinkle glitter over paint. Let dry. Store paint in covered container at room temperature up to 5 days. Makes 1/2 cup paint.

Tips & Warnings

  • Recycle squeeze bottles from ketchup, mustard, honey and other products.
  • Remember, this paint is to play with, not to eat!
