  1. How to Make a Kir and Kir Royal

      Pour one to two tablespoons of Creme de Cassis into an empty wine glass.

      Gently pour six ounces of white wine--traditional Kir's use Burgundy--on top of the Creme de Cassis.

      Drink and enjoy! You've just made a Kir!

      Take an empty champagne glass and add one part Creme de Cassis.

      Gently pour five parts champagne on top of the creme de Cassis.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always pour the Creme de Cassis in prior to the alcohol. It makes for better taste.
