Prepare
-
1
Peel your banana and cut it in half. You can store the other half in the refrigerator, but we recommend eating it or throwing it away because bananas don’t keep well once peeled.
-
2
Mash 1/2 of the banana with a fork in a small bowl until it is a creamy pulp.
-
-
3
Measure the oatmeal and pour it into your food processor and process until the oatmeal is a fine powder.
-
4
Combine the cream and honey in a microwave safe bowl. Warm the mixture in the microwave so that it is just lukewarm. This will take about five to 10 seconds. The heat will help to easily combine the ingredients. Remove from the microwave and stir.
-
5
Add the banana pulp to the warmed honey and cream mixture and mix until thoroughly combined.
-
6
Add the wet banana mixture to the processed oats and process in the food processor for about a minute, or until the mixture is a smooth paste.
-
7
Pour the processed mixture into a small bowl and add the essential oil, stirring gently to combine the oil.
-
8
Apply the mask in circular motions over damp skin. Let the mask sit on your skin for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
