How to Build Deck Support Brackets
On decks that are a little unstable you will find that installing deck supports you tighten up the deck. If you can stand on your deck and make movement while moving back and forth then you may consider installing deck supports. This is best for older decks that have just worked their way loose over the years. Things You'll Need
- 4x4 pressure treated lumber or lumber to match existing deck / 3 feet per post
- 3 inch nails or screws / 8 per post
- Handsaw or skill power saw
- Tape measure
- Pencil
- Hammer or screw gun
- Measuring square

Cut your 4x4 lumber into 16 inch lengths. You will need two per post.
