Take A Cave Tour

Tours are available from the end of March through the end of November on a first come, first served basis.

Tours last about 90 minutes. During the tour you will see cave formations, marble walls, bats and other cave-dwelling creatures.

Wear sturdy walking shoes for the tour. Cave temperature is 44 degrees so a jacket or sweatshirt is recommended.
Take a hike

There are plenty of trails at Oregon Caves National Monument. Talk to a park ranger about the condition and difficulty of any trails before embarkng on a hike.

Make sure you have plenty of water with you.

Tips & Warnings
Cave temperature is 44 degrees. A jacket or sweatshirt is recommended.
Children must be at least 42 inches tall to tour the cave.
Pets are not allowed.
The cave tour can be strenuous. The entire route includes more than 500 stairs and a gradual climb of 230 feet. Visitors have to duck through some passageways.
Not recommended for people with heart conditions or for people who have trouble breathing or walking.
