Charlotte is arguably the most lovable of the four women characters that star on "Sex and the City." With a love of running and romance, Charlotte is a very cool friend. No matter what your festivity of choice, dressing like Charlotte for Halloween is the very best choice.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Put on a long, brunette wig unless you have long, brunette hair yourself. Make sure to straighten hair (or wig) with a straightening iron and spritz it for extra shine. Charlotte is a glamor girl even after becoming a devoted wife and mother.

  2. Step 2

Hit the mall! Choose an dress from the sale racks that has a fancy name brand. Charlotte, like her "Sex and the City" friends, is in the know on fashion. While she may not be as obsessive about it as the others, Charlotte knows about looking beautiful! It doesn't have to be the most expensive item on the shelf, but get something chic.

  3. Step 3

Wear high heels that match the dress. A girl in the group would never go out of the house in ugly shoes. Having shoes that are absolutely perfect with that dress is a must. Look in several malls or thrift shops if necessary. You must not give up until you are in the possession of the perfect shoes with the perfect outfit.

  4. Step 4

Put on simple accessories. These accessories should look expensive, but there is no need to spend a lot of money on a one-time costume. If you own nice jewelry, bring it out for the occasion if it matches the outfit.

  5. Step 5

Watch reruns of the series as well as the movie. Learning Charlotte's mannerisms and tone of voice is what will truly make this costume. Be able to tell some stories about her life, taking on her tones and expressions. People will catch on to who you are right away. You'll bring a smile to the faces of many women!

Tips & Warnings
  • Have your friends go as the other 3 characters for maximum fun and easy recognition of character!
  • Don't get too carried away with this costume. This is a simple costume, and it is not meant for extravagant parties.
