Find a suitable location for your lavender spider grass. Spider grass can tolerate full sun to partial shade.

Dig a hole that is about a size and a half bigger than the size of the root base and about a half size more deep.

Remove the plant from the pot and loosen the roots that seem clumpy.

Place the plant in the hole and then fill in the hole with soil mixture. You can use the original soil, but adding a mixed soil can be beneficial. Tap the soil firmly.

Water the plant generously. Let the water drain before watering again. Water the plant occasionally when the soil is dry.
