Instructions

    • 1

Wash hair with a gentle shampoo. Rinse thoroughly.

    • 2

Apply conditioner liberally to hair, working it through the entire mane of hair.

    • 3

Comb conditioner into hair. Use a medium toothed comb to comb the conditioner through your child's wet hair. Start at the bottom of the hair mane and work your way up, inch by inch and section by section. Once you have reached the scalp, carefully comb the entire mane of hair straight through.

    • 4

Gently towel dry hair. Pat hair with the towel, rather than vigorously rub your child's hair.

    • 5

Brush through dry hair with a nylon bristled brush.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your child gets a snarl and you can't wash her hair, apply a de-tangling spritz. You can purchase a detangler spray from your local pharmacy or hair care center. Apply spray to the snarl. Hold the piece of hair with the snarl and work through the snarl with a comb or pick, starting from the bottom of the hair working your way up to the scalp.

  • Brush through your child's hair every night before bed to keep snarls at bay.

  • Don't start combing or brushing your child's hair from the scalp until you've removed any snarls. Doing so will be painful for your child.
