If you want to part the veils of time to see the future or even to learn more about the past, then try Tarot. This mystical art is an excellent tool. The number cards are part of the Minor Arcana, which consists of 56 cards with 14 in each suit.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Tarot Deck
Step1
Examine the card for symbols other than the obvious cup on the card.
Step2
Consider the numerological meanings of the number 1. The ace could be a beginning, a seed, or an idea.
Step3
Remember the elemental association of the card as well. Cups, swords, and coins will all have very different meanings.
Step4
Take all of these separate parts of information to create a single meaning that works for you.
Step5
Read the card as it is affected by the cards around it. Major Arcana cards, for example, tend to affect the meanings of the cards around them.

Tips & Warnings

  • Minor Arcana cards can be very affected by the Major Arcana cards around them.
  • Use books as guides, but remember that only you can truly understand how the cards are trying to speak to you in your reading.
