  1. How to Safely Trim Nose Hair

    • 1

Clean out the area that you will be trimming and getting rid of hair. You can do this by simply taking a tissue and blowing your nose or wiping it clean with a piece of tissue. If the area you will be trimming in full of mucus or other germs, then simply use a wet tissue or clothe to clean it out as much as possible.

    • 2

Blow air out of your nose to get hairs that usually stick out to stand up. This will help you get those hairs that have a tendency to stick out at the worst moments. Once you have done this, make sure that you have the tools you need to safely trim the hairs out of the way.

    • 3

Use the blunt ended scissors to trim the longer hairs that are sticking out. The blunt end of the scissors will make it easier to snip away at the hairs, while not snipping away at any skin or tissue. Take a tissue and blow your nose again. Wipe away any loose hairs that have already been trimmed to see what other areas you have missed.

    • 4

Take the electric nose hair trimmer and use it to clean up the area in the nostrils to clean up any other loose hairs that you may have missed. It is sort of like mowing a lawn to get it as cleaned up as possible. The scissors act as a weed whacker to get the longer blades, while the trimmer acts as a mower to do a final clean up.

    • 5

Blow your nose again to clean out any other loose hairs. Wipe your nostrils clean and blow air out of your nostrils once again. This time you can do a final once over to see if there is anything you missed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Have tissues on hand so you do not have to run back and forth to the tissue box when cleaning up the hair and your nose.

  • Take your time as rushing may cause your nose to bleed.
