Step 1
Browse through the variety of design and personalization selections on the website you want to order from. You can personalize the lettering and design on your checks, order matching checkbooks, and purchase matching address labels all to reflect your personal style.
-
Step 2
Make sure you are ordering from a secure website. You don’t want to put your bank information into a site that is not secure. Look for the VeriSign Secured logo on the website as well at an https in the address bar. This lets you know that the website is secure and will protect any personal information you enter.
-
Step 3
Have your bank account information ready. You will need to enter your routing number and your bank account number so they can be put on your checks. Your routing number is the nine digit number located at the bottom left-hand corner of your checks. Your account number is the ten digit number that appears right after the routing number.
-
Step 4
Make sure you have enough money in your bank account to pay for the checks that you order. Usually you will pay for your checks by having the money directly debited out of your existing bank account.
-
Step 5
Prior to placing your order, make sure your financial institution has your current name and address. If either of these have changed since you last ordered checks you need to notify your financial institution of these changes.
