A simple solution to this problem is to pain the top and the bottom of the doors, to prevent moisture from entering. Following the steps outlined here will help keep your interior doors from warping due to excess humidity.

Things You'll Need:

  • nail and hammer
  • small can of paint or sealer
  • saw horses or a table
  • 1 inch paint brush

    How to prevent warping in your interior doors

  1. Step 1

    Remove the door by sliding out the hinge pins, use a nail and hammer to tap out the pins from the bottom up.

  2. Step 2

    Place the door on sawhorses or a table top.

  3. Step 3

    Paint both the top and the bottom of the door with sealer or paint with two coats.

  4. Step 4

    Let the paint dry, and reinstall the doors.
