Looking for something to make bath time more fun for everyone in the family? Try switching out your regular shower gel with a shower jelly. It has the consistency of gelatin, but when used in the shower, makes you clean rather than sticky!

How to Use Lush Shower Jellies

  1. Step 1

Locate a store that sells these shower jellies near you. Visit the store to smell the various types and pick a scent that suits you. There are several different scents--some work to calm the mind and body, others contain aphrodisiacs, and some have a citrus scent that will help you wake up in the morning.

  2. Step 2

Keep the shower jelly in a plastic container outside your shower. If water gets in the container, and the jelly is allowed to sit in the water, it will melt and the jelly won't last very long. It works well to keep the shower jelly in a plastic container on the edge of the shower with the lid fastened tightly until you are ready to use it. Try putting the shower jelly in the freezer to keep it more solid, cold and refreshing for when you are ready to use it.

  3. Step 3

Pinch off a small chunk of the jelly while wearing exfoliating shower gloves. You only need a small amount; about the size of a sugar cube. Try not to get water into the container where you are storing the jelly when you do this. Immediately close the container when you are finished so water does not get in and dissolve the jelly

  4. Step 4

Add a little water to the gloves and the chunk of jelly and rub hands together to build a nice lather. Use the lathered gloves to cleanse your body and exfoliate at the same time.

  5. Step 5

Rinse and enjoy the scent of the shower jelly left on your skin. This is why it is important to choose a scent you like--it really does scent your skin for hours.

Tips & Warnings
  • Using the shower jelly product with a bath puff or shower gloves will allow you to use less of the product, and make it last longer.
  • Shower jellies can also be used to clean the hair.
  • Only use a little bit of the shower jelly per shower.
  • Do not eat or ingest any of the shower jelly product.
