How to Expand Your Acting Career Using Actor's Access

  1. Step 1

Upload a current headshot and bodyshot. Upload multiple photographs for on-line consideration. Select photographs that could match the general physical description of specific narrative archetypes. For example, a college coed, soccer mom, prankster, bully, seductress, young nurse, tough street thug and so on. Consider archetypes (characters) you would like to be considered for.

  2. Step 2

Build a resume to outline your training and experience. List all theater, film and television work to demonstrate the range and depth of your acting experience and ability.

  3. Step 3

Upload a reel or actor's slate. Pay $50 to upload a reel of your work. Compliment a strong resume with a video compilation of what you can do as an actor. Only include high quality video and limit duration to three to five minutes.

  4. Step 4

E-mail your official Actor's Access headshot and resume to casting directors. Use your tool box to e-mail your headshot and resume to casting directors. The email will invite the user to review your resume, headshots, video and profile.

  5. Step 5

Use Actor's Access as a personal webpage. If you cannot afford to host a Web site, provide casting directors with the link to your Actor's Access account. When you are not in possession of a business card, headshot or resume, you can provide the link to a casting director or producer you are interested in working with. It is a great way to get noticed without paying the hefty costs associated with hosting a yealy website.
