How to Cancel a Magazine Subscription

  1. Step 1

First, locate the contact information for the customer service department. This can be found either on the magazine's website or inside the magazine. The customer service number can usually be found in the fine print of the privacy policy either in the first or last few pages of the magazine.

  2. Step 2

Before calling the customer service department gather some personal information including the credit card number used to take out the subscription (if applicable), the mailing address and the billing address as well as the magazine account number which can be found above your name on the address label.

  3. Step 3

Call the customer service department and provide the necessary information. This should take no more than 10 minutes but it is wise to have a copy of the magazine with you in case additional information is needed.
