Professional Strength Grout Cleaner and Rinse
Professional Strength Grout Cleaner and Rinse

Don't spend money on getting your grout cleaned or renting grout machines. Do it yourself with the right grout cleaner and grout brush and save.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Grout Cleaner
  • Strong Grout Brush
  • Grout & Tile Rinse
  • Mop
  • Towels
  1. Step 1

The first thing you need to do is clean your floor. Make sure any excess dirt is clean and the floor is dry.

  2. Step 2

The second thing you need to do is clean your dirty grout. I suggest using a professional strength grout cleaner such as Groutrageous, which is the strongest grout cleaner you can get. Apply the grout cleaner to the grout line. Use the professional grout brush to evenly distribute the product into the grout lines.

If your cleaning a light stain let the grout cleaner stand for 1-2 minutes, otherwise let stand for 5-10 minutes. Next you will take the grout brush and gently agitate the grout line and loosen the soil. Afterwards, use a clean dry cloth to wipe up the residue.

  3. Step 3

The last thing you need to do is rinse the grout and tile. I again suggest the Groutrageous Grout & Tile Rinse. Mix a 1/2 cup of the rinse per gallon of water. Wash floor thoroughly and let dry completely overnight.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try the cleaner in a small area initial.
  • Open windows to help ventilate.
  • Gloves and goggles should be used.
