How to print your own labels

About a year ago i came across a Primera Label printer and started printing my own very high quality labels. These printers are very easy to use and have thousands of label sizes and materials to choose from. You can buy your printer from Primera or Kenco Label and choose from over 2,000 label sizes and materials at the kencostore website.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • PC
  • Primera LX400
  • Primera LX810
  • Labels
  • Ink
Step1
Unpack the printer and remove the software
Step2
load the printer driver and label printing software if needed. You can print from any program including Micorsoft, Adobe, Corell & any other art program!
Step3
Plug in the printer and and turn on the power.
Step4
Unpack and load the ink cartridges
Step5
load your label material. Make sure to adjust the gap reader to the center of your label. Make sure the label guide is tight against the labels
Step6
Choose the correct printer settings for the labels you need. & print your first label!
Step7
Once you print your first label, you can adjust the imprint in all directions. You can get a cheet sheet for aligning you Primera labels by calling customer service at 800 537 3336.
Step8
Once your label has printed correctly, you can print the number of labels you need and walk away. The Primera label printer is very reliable and will print every label perfectly.

  • Make sure you buy the correct material for your needs.
  • High Gloss will give you the best quality
  • Matte Poly will give you the best durrability
