Things You'll Need:
- An Ehow account
- Internet
- The ability to read and write (I hope that's a given)
-
Step 1
Let's face it. You're not gonna start off making $50.00 a month from one guide when you first start off do you? I mean..It's possible but not likely.
Instead Let me explain the basics to you. Ehow makes it's money through online advertising. When you write a guide, a program automatically finds key words in your article and tries to base your advertisements off of those articles. If you write a guide on slug racing you probably won't get as much money as say... a guide on computer programs, or cars.
So what do we do to make more mula?? (keep reading) -
Step 2
You need to think of an idea for a guide, such as (choosing the right car for you.) Then you write your rough draft on that guide. Afterwards You'll probably want to revise it.
-
Step 3
When you revise your article you'll want to sneak in key words that won't interupt your article but enhance it while, at the same time, increasing the advertisement types in your article. Such as: instead of simply telling the person to find their favorite car, you can also recommend a ford f150 truck. So that there are advertisements for that truck (when people see that you recommend the ford f150 and see an advertisement for that very truck to the left of your article they are more tempted to look at that advertisement (which in turn increases your profit)
Being able to enhance your article and one up the advertisements is a trick skill that I myself am probably bad at (I could use the practice). -
Step 4
When writing a guide always try and use a spell check. It can get quite annoying to read an article that looks like this
*i recomond a f150 truc becauze it can cary alot of wight*
When they could be reading this.
*I recommend a F150 truck because it is able to carry a good deal of weight*
(remember don't be afraid to use that vocabulary it can really enhance your articles) -
Step 5
Add plenty of pictures to your site. Like the picture of the ford F150 I have to the left. If your trying to get people to click on that advertisement they may be more impressed to see the sleek cool truck, instead of simply taking your word for it's coolness.
(I find most of my pictures from photobucket.com, which is a great resource) -
Step 6
Finally, if you can, make and add a video to the guide. You'll get more points for that guide, and it's more likely to show up near the top when people do a search for it.
