How to Play Backgammon Against a Computer
Playing backgammon against a computer is a great way to hone your skills if you don't have anyone else around to play with. Download a game, run the installation program, and get playing.

Learn the rules of backgammon (see link.)

Go to the Backgammon Classic download site (see link below.)

Download the game by clicking the "Download" button with your left mouse button and saving the file.

When you finish downloading, install the program. Double click on the filename bc3setup.exe. When the install menu pops up, click "Next" every time it gives you an option.

When the install menu asks you if you want to launch Backgammon Classic 3, click the button that says "OK."

Click on your piece to move it. The computer automatically handles dice roles, and moves when your turn is over.

Open the menu. Hit the Escape key to make a menu pop up on the left-hand side.

Click on the "Load" and "Save" buttons to load and save your game.

Click on the "Move" button to have the computer move for you.

Click on the "Back" button to take back a move.

Click the "Tune" button to adjust the computer's strategy. You can change it

This is a Shareware program. Some features (such as changing the computer's skill level) are not available unless you register the program.
