How to Make Mother's Milk Tea

Breastfeeding delivers the best nutrition to your newborn baby. Unfortunately, many women have problems with milk supply and search for ways to increase it.   • a cup
  • something to cover the cup
  • a Mother's Milk Tea teabag
  • one teaspoon of sugar or sweetener (optional)

  1. The Best Way to Make Mother's Milk Tea to Increase Breast Milk Supply

      Place the Mother's Milk Tea teabag in your cup.

      Add sugar or sweetener if desired.

      Pour eight ounces of boiling water into the cup over the teabag and sweetener.

      Immediately cover the cup so that no air or steam can escape.

      Let the tea stand covered for ten minutes.

      After ten minutes, uncover and pull the teabag from the cup.

      Squeeze the teabag into cup, then discard the teabag.

      Stir the tea with the spoon.

      Drink the tea quickly.

      Repeat the regimen at least twice more throughout the day.

Tips & Warnings

  • Drink tea faster than you would drink a "normal" cup of tea.

  • Best results come from drinking tea three to five times per day.

  • It is best if you drink this tea hot, but warm will do as well.

  • Not everyone likes the taste of Mother's Milk, so be forewarned that it is an acquired taste.

  • Do not steep less than ten minutes.

  • Do not drink this tea cold.
