Winter weather means it is time for snow, ice, and frost. This can be especially annoying on your windshield in the morning if you don't have a garage. Instead of spending twenty minutes carving and scraping your windshield out of its ice cocoon every morning, why not prevent the frosty mess from sticking to the glass in the first place? This article will teach you an extremely easy method for quickly removing frost and ice from your windshield.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Spraying the windshield, clearing the way

  1. Step 1

Purchase a plastic spray bottle. These can be found at most department and hardware stores.

  2. Step 2

Pour some rubbing alcohol into the spray bottle. Screw the cap on so it is ready for use.

  3. Step 3

Spray your windshield with the alcohol. The alcohol will quickly melt its way through the frost/snow and loosen the ice from the windshield.

  4. Step 4

Wipe the frost off as you normally would. The alcohol will allow you to immediately clear the snow off without digging with your scraper or having to turn the defrost on for 15 minutes first!
