How to Get Almost Every Stain Out of Clothes

  1. Step 1

Take the piece of clothing that has a stain on it and wet the stain with warm water. You do not need to soak the whole garment, just the spot on the clothes that is stained.

  2. Step 2

Put either some laundry detergent or dish soap on the spot. Saturate it with enough detergent or dish soap. Don't worry if you put on too much; the piece of clothes will be going into the washing machine soon.

  3. Step 3

Rub the clothing together in the area where the stain is. Scrub it until you see the stain coming out of the fibers. It will just take a little time to do this. Add more warm water, soap and rub again if needed.

  4. Step 4

Look at where the stain was. If it's still there, use a stain remover such as Tide stain remover stick and rub it into the clothing. Place the piece of clothing on a hard surface. Take the stain remover and rub it into the stain.

  5. Step 5

Place the garment into the washing machine to finish the washing. When the washing cycle is finished, dry as normal.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not place the clothes into the dryer if the stain is still there. Instead, repeat the procedure before placing it into the dryer. It is better to try this procedure when you first get thestain.
  • • Read the care instructions on the garment before starting
