Step1
Sign up for a free Billeo account on its homepage. If you would rather familiarize yourself with the benefits of having a Billeo account first, then select the “take the tour” button on the homepage. It will take you through a brief introductory of all its features. There are several useful tools that will help you to easily manage your shopping receipts, passwords, and even bill payment information.
Step2
Select the “download” link to begin the setup process of Billeo on your computer system. You'll be immediately prompted to save the installation file on your computer. Remember to choose a destination that will allow you to easily find the file when you are ready to begin the setup process. If you have a high speed Internet connection, then it will only take a few short minutes to download this application.
Step3
Locate the download file and double click it to open. You'll be guided through the installation process and prompted to click a few buttons to fully place Billeo on your computer system. It is extremely important that you do not have any other applications open during this process. Make sure to close all browser windows as well. There will be a useful toolbar installed that will make logging into websites easier.
Step4
Visit all of your usual websites and enter your user name and password information. Billeo will automatically ask if you would like to save this information to its system. Select the “save” button when the Billeo popup window appears. There will be a default name for this password information already populated for you, but you can easily change this information by typing over it. Every time you visit the web pages that have stored Billeo passwords, it will automatically fill in the information for you.
Step5
Manage your multiple passwords and user names by selecting the “passwords” menu on the installed toolbar. You'll be able change information or just view existing information. There's no option to print this data, but that's a good thing. Printing this sensitive information will only place you at risk. Once you are logged into the Billeo system, all of your passwords and user names will be within easy reach.
Step6
Purchase items from familiar websites and Billeo will ask if you would like to save the receipt. This will provide you with a convenient way to organize your purchases without hard work. Billeo even has a way of allowing you to view shopping reports when necessary. It will appear in a graphical form so that you can quickly identify your purchases. Billeo also gives you the chance to view this information in several ways such as monthly or according to specific purchases.
Step7
Store your frequently used payment information by selecting the “fill form” link. It will direct you to a sidebar that will allow you to add your credit cards or bank account information. Instead of having to enter this financial data each time, it will be filled in for you. Choose a nickname for the account, enter the payment details and you are done.
