The Ukulele is a popular instrument that is played by musicians of all ages. From children to the young at heart, the Ukulele is played by many around the world. Learn how to play E7 on the Ukulele in just a few steps.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Hold the body of the Ukulele in with the right arm over the front. The strings should be facing away from the body.

  2. Step 2

    With the left hand, hold the neck of the Ukulele between the index finger and thumb.

  3. Step 3

    Place the left index finger on the "G" or top string between the nut or string spacer and the first fret.

  4. Step 4

    Put the left middle finger on the "C" or second string from the top between the first and second fret.

  5. Step 5

    With the ring hold down the "E" string or the string that is third from the top directly under the middle finger between the first and second fret.

    Hold the fingers down firmly on their assigned strings and strum all the strings near the center of the body of the Ukulele with the right hand .

Tips & Warnings
  • The Ukulele Strings from top to bottom are assigned G, C, E and A.
  • The "nut" or "string spacer" is at the top of the neck and is used to space out the strings as they go down the neck..
  • A "fret" is a metal strip that goes across the neck of the Ukulele.
  • Try not to let the fingers touch the nut or "frets", it will change the sound.
