Check the food that you are eating or drinking these may be causing the indigestion. Beverages that cause may stimulate the stomach to produce acid include milk, milk products such as chocolate bars, alcoholic beverages, tea and coffee.

Assure that the medications and prescription drugs that you are taking are not making you sick to the stomach. Many drugs can irritate the stomach lining and may cause you to feel ill. If you notice that after you have taken your medication your stomach becomes upset, contact your doctor. Your doctor may be able to recommend a change in the medication or a change in the method that you take your medication, they may recommend that you take your medication with bread or water.
