    • Scissors
    • Water
    • Decoupage paste

        Cut the bottom off of paper bag and cut down one side to create one sheet.

        Crinkle the bag or kraft paper into a tight ball. Wet it thoroughly and let it dry until it's almost dried. Carefully flatten out the paper and finish drying it on a flat surface. Be careful not to rip the paper as it will be very fragile.

        Repeat step two. Once paper is completely dry for the second time, spread a liberal amount of decoupage paste in a thin coat over paper bag. Let dry.

        You are now ready to embellish your wrapping paper. A few suggestions would be to make faux "stitches" around leather with a brown marker, trim with leather fringe, stamp with western style stamps. The options are endless.
