Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Visit your local retailer. It might be a futile gesture, since most stores cannot keep a Nintendo Wii on their shelves for more than a few minutes. That said, it's a good idea to start here. And don't just go to electronic stores. Wii's might also turn up in toy stores and general department stores.
Step2
Check online. Nintendo's official web site has a handy list of the various online retailers that are authorized to sell Nintendo products. If you order a Wii, even if it is not in stock, it will ship when they get one.
Step3
Search through Ebay and Craigslist. Since the Wii is so hard to find at official retailers a strong secondary market for the console. Dozens of Nintendo Wii's are available at such sites, so check around.
Step4
Use the Wii Tracker. This website allows users to check whether or not Nintendo Wii's are in stock at your favorite online retailer. Be sure to take advantage.
