1. Look at the seven card of your choice to find symbols that have meaning for you.

2. Consider the symbolism in conjunction with the meaning of the number. Sevens generally are a conflicted card, and can indicate defending yourself or something important to you or needing to make an important choice.

3. Use the meaning of the suit as well. A cups card indicates more of an emotional situation, while a sword card indicates a mental situation.

4. Use the combined meanings to decide how your card relates to the cards around it in the spread. Use your own intuition along with the knowledge that you have to make the right decisions for the reading.
