Step 1

I recently purchased a palm treo 600 cell phone and want to add some useful programs, I searched far and wide and I am going to share what I have found. So for step 1, I went to Ebay and bought a DVD with a bazillion programs on it. Visit www.ebay.com and do a search for palm software and many will display in the search results.
Step 2

Next source is Palm open source located at:
http://www.palmopensource.com/
Lots of goodies there, plus some still under development.
Step 3

I found another source at mytreo forum, web address below
http://mytreo.net/forum
You have to register but there's some neat programs to be had.
I am also going to add several others in the links section.

Tips & Warnings

Not all palm programs are operation between different versions of the palm os, some will say what thay are compatible with and some don't. My palm will reboot if it doesn't like a program that i had tried to run on it.
Use the palm desktop (in windows) to add programs, it will also back up your info in case you put something on your palm that makes it crash. It's always good to have a backup of your contact list.
