Tips & Warnings
Be sure to rub the chest muscles when giving a massage. There is usually a connection between the muscles in the front of the body and the corresponding muscles in the back of the body.
When giving a massage, use the tips of your fingers to make small circles around the targeted muscles.
Take your time and work the muscles of the upper back and side muscles of the neck. Tension is often carried in these outer muscles.
Do not massage an area that is inflamed due to tissue damage.
Be careful to not turn the neck too far in either direction. Be gentle and pay attention to the comfort level of the individual you are giving the massage to.
